Biggest Misfit Award from Pistons in the Park
The “Sticker Bomber” Art car won a Trophy at the 2024 Pistons in the Park presented by the City of Pittsburgh! The “Sticker Bomber” Art Car is part of the BOOM Concepts x MWFA Demolition Derby Art Car Series. It has been featured across the country including The Houston Art Car Parade 2024, The Orange Show Art Car Ball 2024, the Miami Art Week 2023 at the Sticker Bomber event at the Museum of Graffiti, and Wynwood Mural Festival 2023.

Returns to Pittsburgh’s Northside
Pittsburgh, PA – Rev up the last days of summer with an afternoon of classic and tuner cars, trucks and street rods at “Pistons in the Park” cruise-in-style car show Saturday, September 7, from Noon to 4 p.m. along West Ohio Street and Ridge Avenue in Allegheny Commons Park on Pittsburgh’s Northside.
“Pistons in the Park remains an ever-popular free event the entire family can enjoy,” according to Special Events Program Coordinator Brandon D’Alimonte. “West Park is always packed with spectators of all ages enjoying a late summer afternoon overflowing with cool cars, great food, and memorable music, plus owners of the first 100 cars to arrive receive t-shirts and dash plaques.”
No registration is required to participate in the cruise-in and/or compete for ten custom trophies hand-crafted by Misfit Autowerks LLC and Skeptik Innovations.
The show will feature a wide variety of vehicles that will be judged and awarded trophies including “Cleanest Detail,” “Best Audio or Lighting” and “Biggest Misfit.” Pittsburgh-theme trophies will include “Northside’s Finest Ride,” “Mayor’s Choice” and “Most Likely to Get a Speeding Ticket” (selected by a representative of the Department of Public Safety).
Throughout the event, car enthusiasts will stroll tree-lined streets to the music of TJ the DJ from Audacy Pittsburgh and enjoy an opportunity to grab a snack, order a meal or enjoy a delicious dessert thanks to the delicious temptations of a variety of food truck concessionaires.
The 2024 edition of “Pistons in the Park” is hosted by The City of Pittsburgh’s Office of Special Events and sponsored by WesBanco, Distinct Automotive Appearance, Misfit Autowerks LLC, Go Drive, Skeptik Innovations, and Steel City Society.
