East End Holiday Party Wrap up 2025

The Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation and the Most Wanted Car Club kicked off the holiday season the best way we know how, by opening our doors and celebrating together. On December 13, The BGC Activity Center at 113 N. Pacific Avenue was filled with music, laughter, and a whole lot of winter cheer during our Annual Holiday Party and Coat Giveaway. From noon to 3 p.m., neighbors stopped by to sing, craft, eat sweets, and spend time together, turning a cold December afternoon into something warm and joyful.

More than 150 local youth and their families joined us during the event, with kids heading home bundled up with new coats and toys. After the party wrapped up, another 50 youth still received coats, making sure even more neighbors were covered for the winter. We also made sure our older youth felt the love, 45 high school juniors and seniors received gift cards and pizza certificates thanks to Caliente Pizza. Homemade cupcakes from Amy Drevenak disappeared quickly, DJ Paris Not France kept the karaoke rolling, Assemble helped kids make ornaments, and Santa made sure everyone got a moment of holiday magic.

This celebration wouldn’t be possible without our longtime partners, the Most Wanted Car Club, who volunteer their time and fundraise all year to help make the event happen. At its heart, this day is about neighbors showing up for one another, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make the season a little warmer for East End families. Moments like these are a reminder that community care is alive and well and it sounds a lot like singing karaoke together in December.
